Expansion packs and maps help
Hi, I've had HMM 5 for some time now and just purchased 2 expansion packs for it. Usually with other steam games you would have to unlock the expansions with the cd keys, but it appears as though they are 3 seperate games. Is this how it's meant to be or is there some way of not having them seperate?

Also could anyone please tell me where to put downloaded maps?

Cheers (>^-^)>

I too wonder about this because I now have 3 separate Heroes 5 icons....do we need them all or will they just be a part of the main game or what? Help please smart people on the internet here O_o

I think they work in a standalone manner. I recently just got the HMMV pack with them all on the promo. I found that the only one that actually needed its cd key was tribes of the east expansion, the only one that still runs a ubi.com backed multiplayer online.

Yeah you right, Heroes V and its expansion are on separate shortcuts. The difference between them is the campaign and the game feature, the storyline is in this order: original Heroes V > Hammers of fate > tribes of east. The game feature will get better with that order, if you want to play skirmish or multiplayer with the best feature you should only play tribes of the east, which is the last expansion. The only time you want to play original Heroes V and hammers of fate is only for the campaign.
