Why not release the soundtrack on sale? I know it's already on YouTube, but I like a copy for myself for when I travel. I remember when the game was first released, the CD soundtrack was on sale, so why not a digital one?

Isn't YouTube quality generally around 128 KBPS?

It's a bit odd that the Steam version is so limited. Buy the game from elsewhere (it was in a Humble Bundle a while back, and GOG's been selling it for ages) and those options give you the soundtrack, as well as other stuff like the game's source code. Steam's version has none of the extras which is a shame.

You can get the soundtrack for free from introversion's website, the only problem is (like the officially released CD) it's missing a few tracks. All the songs from uplink are module tracker files, you can probably find them at places like the modarchive.
