Linux Question: How do you quit/save?
It seems I can run uplink just fine. but I can't quit or save my game.

I believe the 'x' in the upper left corner must be it, but I get nothing when I click that. I've been forced to kill the process just to get back to my desktop.

I'm not sure if Linux has it mapped on their keyboard, for I am not a frequent user of it, but how does the F12 key work?

It's a shortcut that allows for a forced save and shutdown.

seems F12 works. Thanks, I'll use that at a work around for now.

So maybe that shortcut is worth something after all! xD

(Crashed her session about 3 times with that button already)

Was having the same problem (Gentoo 64bits). Switched to Windowed Mode and now it's working :)

I had similar problem but in my case I needed to change resolution for the game. I run the game and hit F12. This closed the game and did screenshot (which I deleted, it is not needed). Then when I run the game for the second time I was presented with main screen. Click on options on the right side, then on the monitor icon and change resolution to your monitor native one. This make close button in the top left corner working as expected.

Here on ARCH+Openbox I got no issue. Is it a gnome thing maybe?
