Using the Steam overlay in this game.

On the off chance anyone can help with this, I'm trying to get the steam Overlay working with this seeing as alt+tab crashes it. I've tried installing the Glide Voodoo stuff and all it does is cause my monitor to flash repeatedly before booting into a small resolution (Idk what it uses as default, but mine is 1920 x 1080). I've even tried editing it in ubi.ini and it doesn't do anything but cause it to flash and boot into a smaller res. Is there any way to get this thing to work with the overlay and in 1920 x 1080?

Overlay works only with games that use DirectX 9 and higher.

Rayman 2 uses DirectX 6 i believe

Ive already gotten it to work. Can't remember the specifics, but something about installing Glide Wrapper and configuring it with the configurator installed with it.

Your comment is appreciated, regardless of time. As I said, I figured it out already, though. The Glide Wrapper installs a config tool which, by changing some setting (I seriously forget) makes the overlay work.

Right-Click on your Rayman executable, Properties and then untick run as admin. Easy as that. (:))
