Savegame?

I've been playing this game for a few days now, after finally getting back into it, and every time I launch the default intro plays, my profile is NewUser, and the only unlocked levle is Garden.

Any idea on how to fix this without keeping the game on whenever I leave the house?

The game saves automatically. Are you using "Leave location" to exit the level (which saves it in progress)?

Yeah, I click Leave location.

Okay, in case you are STILL having issues... I found out what to do.

Basically, go into the Local Directory of the game (Right Click -> Browse Local Content...) and then view the properties of Darwinia.exe (Right Click -> Properties). Under the Compatability tab, change it to work under Windows XP SP2. I did this, made a new profile (to double check), exitted, came back, NO INTRO AND PROFILE SAVED!

and you can continue your progress.
