Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

Random glitches in POP:SOT, WW, TT
Really disappointed with these games considering they are really fun to play however are let down due to a number of re occuring glitches.

i am stuck in all 3 of these games now because of the physics within the game

in SOT i have to push a box of a ledge and for some reason just goes flying across the map and lands on a set of stairs where the box cannot be pushed down.

in WW i cannot progress due to pressing a button which raises the floor to climb to reach a rope, this must be done by slowing the time down, when the slow down is activated the rope starts spinning randomly stopping me from grabbing it.

in TT at the very start of the game i have to vault over a railing to climb onto a pole, when i climb over the railing the prince just falls imediately with no commands even made.

if anyone can help it would really appreciated as i really enjoyed these games when they were first released.

I must agree these are great games, but very glitchy. When I played SOT I was at a part where you were in an observatory and when you jump to a ledge you'd lose a small amount of health. I only had a small amount so every time I'd get to the ledge I'd die, and there was no water in the room. I had to start the game all over again :/ My experiences with glitches on this game haven't been all too many, but I have encountered them and saw no way to fix them. The only thing I can reccomend is to start your game all over again and keep creating a new save at each checkpoint so that you can go back to incase you encounter a glitch; or if you already have new saves go back to your most recent one and try again, this worked for me. Good luck :)
I also have my issues with SOT- when I get to the large room that has a very large battle on the ground floor, then a bunch of mirror/light beam puzzles, the mirrors sometimes get stuck... to the point that certain ones won't move in any direction (or if they do, they'll only go one way, and not in the direction I need, of course)!

And this is happening after an issue with jumping from rope to rope in the baths. In that one, the jumping angle wouldn't straighten out so I'd always miss the next rope. Ugh, so frustrating!
I love this game, but it's definitely not made for pc. Thank God I finished it on PS2 way back in the day. :\

I have an issue. In the section, where I am in the caves, and I have to swing from the ropes with the buckets - After I drop a box down, I have to grab a new rope and swing to another rope. The Price keeps swinging in the WRONG direction. I tell him to go straight, but he keeps swinging towards in a near direction.
I'm stuck at the exact same place at 81% and pushing the box over the ledge... I've just tried redoing it 13 times over and I have the same result with the box flying onto the stairs.

I've become extremely frustrated with the amount of buggy glitches in this game
Update to mine. I just shut Steam down entirely and came back in, fixed my issue. Try verifying your game cache as the physics thing could be a bad file. OR if you have a GPU that adds physics, trying turing that off for this game.
Having a nvidia video card finally found how to fix the problem since the in game vsync isnt working.

open the nvidia control panel. You should see manage 3D setting there you select the game in this case prince of persia sand of time and manually activate the vsync and triple buffering in there.

Fixed the physic probleme where you jump high in the sky near edge and box getting lauch instant of dropping.

Are any of you having mouse issues these days?

I am having issues with mouse in Sands of Time and Warrior Within, it used to work and now does not. Windows 7, Logitech MUV94 mouse.

Not even my trackpad on my late 2012 Macbook Pro is functioning

Did you find a solution yet to the mouse issue if you've had it?

I am having this same issue. He keeps swinging towards a corner and not towards the other rope.

^^ This solved my issues. No more jumping bug on edges, falling off instantly from ropes when letting go for a wall-run... Pretty much every buggy thing I had with the game physics are gone. Even the cutscene video-audio sync issue (so far).
