Problems with windows 8
try to start the game but all i get is the splash screen up and that just hangs there ,i click on it then up pops turn windows to 32 bit mode.i suspect its because either windows 8 or being 64 bit op or both any ideas anyone?thanx

Normally games go into some compatibility mode when you start them up because my battlefield 2 does the same thing and I have windows 7.

Well Ubi put the fix for Windows Vista, 7 and 8 in the steam version so its not that.
The 64-bit makes no difference.
so the next thing would be to goto your Game Library on Steam.
Right Click your game-->Properties-->Local Files-->Verify Integrity of Game Cache--|
iif that doesn't work then.
Check the PC for software incapability Like Programs and drivers.
if that doesn't work then Check your hardware capability with the game.
if that doesn't work then I'm sorry I can't help.

this is why u dont buy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ window 8 it ♥♥♥♥ and u never buy the newest OS cause non of the games will fully work on it without bugs and glitches

Well windows 8 is just a rescine of windows 7 with a couple of new features. It process programs and graphics the same as 7 so I don't think its that.
