unable to launch the game

Hi everyone
I just installed UT2004 but I can't launch the game, all i get is the famous error "Application Load Error (0x03)"... So far i've tried to verify game cache and reinstall Steam (keeping only steamapps folder and Steam.exe), but it didn't help. Any other suggestions to get rid of that error ?

EDIT : found this in installscript_log :

[2015-03-21 20:06:47] Failed to add installscript "A:\Steam\steamapps\common\Unreal Tournament 2004\installscript.vdf" to registry key whitelist (game path "A:\Steam\steamapps\common\Unreal Tournament 2004")

I will answer to my own question since i managed to get the game running using the v3369 patch + deleting the UT2004.ini file.
Hope this helps anyone having the same issue.
