Why the Opposing Force soundtrack?
Seriously Valve, what's up with using that one? Military drums ain't fitting in at all. When did it happen?
I know for sure that Dreamcast original used HL1 soundtrack and I can hear it from YouTube's 2010 Steam Longplay as well.

Ranting aside, any nifty little mod/guide to restore it? Though I mostly just wanted to rant, lol.

first this was made by gearbox second dreamcast maybe but it was canceled. the PC version used since the begeanning some tracks from the OF OST and I like them.
