AVG detecting Audiosurf as Virus? [SOLVED]
Hi guys, does anyone have a fix for this? My AVG is detecting the QuestViewer.exe as a trojan. I've tried adding it to 'allowed list', and ignoring the alert, but it doesn't help. :(
The demo worked absolutely fine, so I don't know why it is only just alerting me about this.

EDIT: Thanks LividJava for helping. View his topic here:

I have both AVG(free edition) and Audiosurf. However, this doesn't happen to me.
Mine is free edition as well.
It flashing up that it is a 'Trojan Horse Generic33.AKOW'.
I click ignore, but it continues to flash up when I try to run the game :(

But if I click to remove the threat, it says the data is invalid and cannot be deleted?

Don't use AVG.

I was using Audiosurf yesterday without any issues on the same computer. Today i received the same message as you and AVG has always been up and before Audiosurf worked perfectly fine. Now I have the same issue and Audiosurf crashes. I removed Steam and Audiosurf from my computer and then redownloaded everything. I'm still having the same issue. Help?

I tried playing the demo and it happened to me too :(
I've heard that there was a new update in AVG that has caused it treat Audiosurf as a trojan, but I'm not sure how to fix it, or even if it's affecting any of my other games :/
Have you tried taking it out the game and blowing on the cartreidge, then putting it back in?
