Hey, the parts were you get to make a difference to the places you captured are great. You can choose to be a real tyrant (Which is super fun!) or more... caring for your subjects. when overlord mixes things up by using the base game but adding cool new features like the boats which allow you to board. Also the constant unqiue missions are interesteing and keep the game fresh. Alot of games fail to do this sort of thing.
I would like to see more places to spend your gold. Like build a watch tower for a settlement, which comes in handy if your enemy decide to take the settlement back from you. Or patrols to stop slaves running away. That sort of thing would be epic, but not annoy the player so much that they loose interest in the story.
I'd also like to add the plot twist to the first one was amazing. I hate plot twists if they are over done but that one just made sense!

It is still uncertain whether there will be a Overlord 3 or not. The last "hint" that there could possibly be a Overlord 3 was on the facebook/twitter of Triumph Studios (link at the bottom) but even then it has been quite some time since they have made this post well over a year and a half ago as well as that it could just be another game with the rough mechanics that Overlord has. It is looking pretty slim. There has also been paint art of Overlord 3 suggestion what the new Overlord could look like but it is hard to confirm if some of the selected screenshots are offical or not besides the obvious ones of their pages, this was also late 2012 them screenshots so the game could have been "discontinued".

If there will be a Overlord 3 it won't be any time soon because of the game Triumph Studios are working on (Aka Age of Wonders 3) so it will be it least another good year or so of being in the dark before more infomation comes out whether or not there will be a Overlord 3. In my opinion I do wish that there is a Overlord 3 being worked on in sercet and will come out in the near future but I am somewhat giving up hope with each passing month/year.

Before I forget Triumph Stuidios on several occasions that they would like to make another Overlord game (in interviews and to media) but the rights of the game are up to Codemaster of course so it is really up to codemaster whether or not they would like to make another game or juust let it cimpletely die out.

I would like to seen customization of towns and random defence missions. I would also like to have more focus on the overlord with random loot and dungions, maybe manage your own like dungion keeper? Evolving minions would be cool too, as in the change apearence and get stronger as they gain experience as more of a reward for keeping them alive. Dificulty setting are nice too, I loved Legendary dificulty in the first one. Played near a thousand hours of overlord on my Xbox before it broke realy looking forward to another one.

Could also be another console title. there are already 2 of them.

I had a wicked idea for the multiplayer portion of the game. If the engine was able to handle more minions and larger maps a versus mode could be made highly strategic and feature multiple overlords

Be more evil.

If Dungeon Keeper let you torture enemies or toss their corpses into a graveyard to convert them into units for your war machine, why can't Overlord do simular things?

The previous Overlord games your choices mearly ranged from anti-hero to 'a bit of a nob', for a game that's premise was to be an Evil Overlord it was a bit lacking in the whole evil department.

For me, the best part of Overlord, is the Overlording. I love the keep, the more customization you can fit into my keep/tower, the better. My least favorite part of the previous games were the parts that were overly reliant on the minions as puzzle pieces, if you understand my meaning. The best example of this is the Greens attainment mission, with the emphasis on stealth. Please, don't do that again.

If there could be some form of Empire management as the Overlord (set taxes, take slaves for help building the tower, blood sacrifices for life force at the expense of tax income, maybe even some immergent gameplay regarding rival factions. In fact, having the game be about three Overlords would fit quite well, duking it out. Could have the two archetypes represented perfectly with the other two Overlords to poke fun at what was seen a bilinear gameplay in the previous games), character customization at launch, and just general amounts of immergent gameplay, it'd stand as one of the greats in my opinion.

Overlord 1 was fantastically original in a time where gaming was mucked up in browns and bro culture (I'm looking at you, Gears of War), Overlord 2 was an excellent evolution of a game that fell short rarely, but drastically when it did, and failed only in the sense that it didn't become a franchise maker. However, there's loyal fans of this series, everywhere. I have a friend who refuses to play anything that isn't a strategy game, except for this series. He's beat the entire thing 4 times, and why that is? I'm not sure, but I've yet to meet someone with something truly negative to say about the Overlord series. The same can't be said of DiRT, or Grid. Codemasters is sitting on a winner here. Now, let's just hope you all get another go at this series, because god damn, I cannot even imagine what you could do now that you're not constrained by last generation hardware.

Okay, I can a little. 100+ minion armies? High fidelity animations for minions? Furthermore, if possible, Cryengine. Imagine a stylized game done with Cryengine. Dear lord, my dreams will be sweeter just with that thought.
