4 Secret Achievements
The 4 secret achievements are going from each to the opposite corner of the map, right? 'Cause I don't want to spend 8 hours doing that, only to not get the achievements.

Spoilers below! Do not read if you don't want to know!!!

You get two acchivements for going from the corners of the map to the other corners. Note that they have to be from the top to the bottom of the map (not from the south to the north), and you have to actually leave the north camp, then enter the south camp to trigger it...just driving from one zone to the other doesn't work. Also you have to have the zones unlocked before you can enter the camp, so there is no point in trying to do those acchivements until you have unlocked the zones.

So the two are:

Tsunami Reef to Redrock Bluffs (Sand to Stone)
White Flats to Pinwheels Ridge (Salt over Snow)

(NB: There is a way to do both of these acchivements in just minutes, without driving the whole way there. However for the sakes of spoilers I won't say how...if you wish to do this then search online for the answer. Plus I'd really recommend you don't 'cheat' in such a way, because the journey is so much fun to do legitimately!)

The other two secret acchivements are:

Use helicopters 100 times.
Fall 150 meters.

Thanks for that. I've already unlocked Sand to Stone, after a two hour road trip in FUEL with some friends. We were planning to go from Pinwheels Ridge to White Flats next, so I'm glad that I found that out beforehand. To be honest, we'll probably do it anyway, because those journeys ARE fun. But I would've been annoyed that I didn't get the achievement after that, but now I know that there is none. Thanks again for that.

Glad to be of assistance. If you do that trip you planned backwards you should get the other acchivement, and that is a fun one to do as well since you can just blast down the highway to Dustbowl City then across on the second highway west. Get everyone in fast tarmac vehicles like Sidewinder or Steelfang and you can be done in just 90mins or so, much less time than the other one. And going so hard and fast for so long is really exciting...only problem is if someone crashes and you all need to stop to let them catch up lol

i went from reef to redrock and i have both areas unlocked and i still didnt get the achievement.

spent 2 hrs doing it. is there a crash limit or something like that that will keep u from getting it.

any tips i should know before spending another 2 hours trying it again?

Did you actually start out in the Reef camp, then exit to the map and start driving? And when you got to the Bluffs, did you actually drive into the camp so that the menu came up? You have to be sure to go from one camp to another, not just from one zone to the other.

Also, did you stop to go into other camps along the way, or did you do any challenges/races? If you do these it may invalidate the acchivement.

There's no crash limit on it. If your game crashes and freezes up then you'll have to start again (you can't just pick up from where you left off), but just crashing your car on the landscape won't have an effect. Changing vehicle won't have an effect either, you can switch car as often as you like.

i did start from the reef camp and enter redrock camp. i did however go through a zone i did not have unlocked, i didnt use the camp however. could that have anything to do with it?

No that shouldn't have made a difference as far as I know. So long as you didn't visit another camp it should have no effect what zone you pass through.

alright. thanks man.
