Virtual Memory Must Be Enabled?

i get this when trying to load the game

I was getting that as well until I re-enabled it; seems there are a number of games that require virtual memory after doing a Google search. I had it disabled because it was causing too much wear & tear on my hard drive. Here's some instructions on how to re-enable it:

And I have to feel sorry for you if you just purchased this. Game is going to be dead July 1st when GFWL gets shut down because the publishers just don't care to remove it. Going to lose a lot of customers when that day happens & they won't be able to do anything about people downloading the game for free once it gets classified as abandonware; I'm not going to say pirate because "pirating abandonware" really is an oxymoron. (Heh... Word filter failure...)

Anybody know a way to bypass the virtual memory thing other than re-enabling the page file? I run a SSD so I'm not going to enable virtual memory.

Its not a bad game, its really fun when you know how to configure your game, if you have a good computer you can add anti-aliasing which the game itself doesnt support or doesnt work correctly.

Search for the mod called FUEL: REFUELED, its just a great mod which provides many extra options.

Also grabbing this game for a dollar is a great deal, because its not available on Steam anymore.
