I had it for Xbox 360 and absolutely loved the game. Felt fine using a controller if you have one and your steering wheel doesn't work with it. Personally I'm holding out on buying it again on steam till later tonight in hopes that it becomes a daily or flash sale for cheaper than 10 bucks.

grid is a good game, but it has problems with the 360 controller.

The thing is, it limits the maximum angle you can turn your wheels when it detects a controller.
The faster you go, the smaller the angle.
Most people dont notice it, but it can easily seen by looking how far the wheels turn with a controller and with a keyboard.

This "feature" makes it much harder to drive fast cars with a controller.

I will wait on this one..... I shall wait until it is lower. At least race 07 is 89cents :)

its right, because in real life cars handle the same way. the faster you go the smaller corner of wheel turn

no, you dont understand.
its not that the car turns slower as in real life.
you can actually watch the player avatar that sits in the car. At higher speeds with a pad when you press the stick all the way to the left/right, it will turn the steering wheel much less than when you play with a keyboard or wheel.

doesnt matter much for muscle cars and such, but those races where you drive those high profile sports cars or even formula races...its very noticable.

Can you get it to run in 1920x1200 or 1920x1080 though? I could only seem to set it as high as 1600x1200
retroperspektive Jan 11, 2013 @ 10:33am
That should be possible. I can run it in 1920 x 1080 (options > graphic settings > (custom) resolution).
