PSA for levels 5 and up
You dont belong in normal! move up to hard, it is beyond annoying when every server is full of you guys stealing all possible level gains for the lower level players. If i could i would jump straight to hard to avoid you people, but level 2 perks arent viable in hard. that said, a lvl 4 medic isn't really a problem, but when you have a lvl 5 firebug, zerker, or demo inolved, there is no chance to really kill anything, which means the rest of us cant level.

PSA: Level 0 is perfectly viable on Hard, and if you are willing to listen and learn, viable on HoE.

Just start playing hard Nachoz; you will level faster and will probably enjoy yourself more. Work with your team, and I can almost guarantee that you won't fail.

no, a level 0 is not viable in hoe, i've tried it, get stomped instantly, simply because you dont have the damage output to do anything, and that was on the 1 server they didnt instakick me from. Hard has a similar issue with getting instakicked. I had sharp at 6, firebug at 4, and commando at 5 before i reset my perks so i could relearn and eliminate bad habits. Such as doing the very thing i'm complaining about.

Here is a level zero soloing HOE
http://youtu.be/spqiZkCh7Rg

Here are a bunch of vids of level zeros on HOE[www.google.com]

Really, that is for the skilled, not grinders looking to up their perk level. Level 5 - 6 with skills should play HOE more than normal.

But there are often no HOE or Suicidal games, sometimes you just want to fool around, sometimes you go to normal to help out new people. Also, its impossible to steal kills, it is a TEAM CO-OP SURVIVAL game. The objective is not to get the most kills so you can increase your perks, its for the team to survive and win. A Level 6 should let lower levels get more kills if they are on normal, I would.

A lot of level 6's are just people who power leveled. They don;t have the skill for HOE or Suicidal or even Hard and ofter die on Normal. They used a map that allowed them to get to level 6 in just a couple of hours. Those are the people you see. Please don't flame true level 6 players, point it at the power levelers.

I'm a Level 6 and sometimes I play on Normal, I do if I just want to muck around without playing seriously and sometimes I like to help out lower level players. There's nothing wrong with Level 5 and 6's playing on Normal.

When I was playing on normal, I was happy to see that some lvls 5 - 6 were with us. Didn't bother me at all that those people helped us newbies survive and kill the boss!

The video you showed is not a good example, as he was using zerk, and in solo. I'd like to see the same as firebug, commando, or support specialist. as far as my comment on kill stealing, yes it is coop, but it is no fun to stand there with your thumb up your ass because lvl 5-6s are killing everything instantly. as far as the 'screwing around on a lower difficulty' argument, they should be on hard. The powerlevelers using a map specifically for it, and not gaining the proper skills should be banned. I have no clue why tripwire thought removing the map whitelist was a good idea. As I stated before, try actually joining a HOE game in multiplayer as a lvl 0, se what happens. I can guarantee that unless the admin/most players in the room know you, you will be kicked.

There is when you are impeding the growth of the lower level players

I'm not impending anything, you just need to suck it up. No one says you have to stay with the Level 5 and 6's. Go to some other place on the map and kill stuff there. If they want to muck around on Normal then who are you to say they shouldn't be allowed to? I worked hard to get my perks to that level and if I feel like joining a Normal game to have some fun then I'l do it.
And Tripwire removed the map whitelist because they are a very small company, they're hard at work on new content and new games, they can't do that if they're bogged down with a thousand whitelist approvals not including mutators. It's clear when you play the game who powerlevels and who doesn't so you can avoid them easily. And yes, most players on Suicidal and HoE will kick you when you join their game, not because you can't do enough damage, but because you're not experienced enough to survive on that difficulty and if you die every wave, that's just more work for them. The video was just to show that it is possible with enough experience to complete a HoE game with Level 0 perks.

It's a bit too easy. I recently reset my perks so I'm still low levels in all my perks and I find hard quite easy as a level 3-4.

It's still very easy to get cornered and die if you relax too much. Yeah Hard isn't that hard either at higher level perks. But it's more fun to one shot Scrakes and Fleshpounds with a Crossbow headshot or to blast them with a full AA12 clip, or even hang back as a medic and heal everyone :)

your a bit of an arrogant.... by impeding, i mean that you are killing most of the zeds, and as such it is harder for lower levels to level, especially those with specific requirements like commando or sharp. the whole 'just join another server' thing doesnt work when most the ones listed have a lvl 5 or 6 in them. I play games at very odd times, sometimes at like 4 in the morning, which means there are very few low ping servers with people in them.

1. you said "a level 0 is not viable in hoe, i've tried it, get stomped instantly, simply because you dont have the damage output to do anything"with out mentioning which class.
2. Gave you a link to dozens of other videos where people played a variety of classes as level zero on 6 man HOE.
3, not advising level zero to go to HOE, made that clear it was for the skilled.
4. Point remains - it is possible for level zero to play HOE. It is not likely for most, it is not advisable, but yes, it is possible. Especially if you reset your perks after being a level 6 (without power leveling).

If you can't get kills because of a level 6 on normal just move to a differnt spot, don't camp with them, kite, ask them nicely if they could allow you to get more kills. Being a level 6 is not auto-win on normal. You have more power, start with a weapon, and weapons are cheaper. Seen plently level 6's wipe on normal.

The same can be said to you, just because you don't like something doesn't mean everyone has to bow down to your will. I stay with the team and work with them, by Wave 3 or 4everyone has a Tier 2 weapon at least so the argument ceases to exist. If you play at weird times then that's your fault, I didn't say join another server, I said go somewhere else on the map not join another server as well. If the Level 5 or 6 isn't there killing stuff, it's just going to be another person there doing the exact same thing no matter what level they are.

Go go lvl 0 firebug in 6player HoE.

If I ever go on normal, it is because I am with someone who has friended me so I can teach them how to play kf. I tend to try and let them get the kills, but I always cover them and so forth, and tend to end up killing the sc/fp.
