inn a level 3 commando and can only see stalker 12m away.If I use scar or FN can I see like 20m away or stay the same at 12m away

Those variables adjust with the progression of your perk and not what weapon you use.

I guess Vincent is wondering if the zoom effect of those two rifles' telescopic sight will increase the detection range he's getting.

No, I'm afraid not: the Stalker detection radius isn't affected by weapon optics.

You still have a chance of seeing them, faintly, and plugging them.
