Error when starting game

I launch KF, it loads, goes past all the stuff in the beginning (unreal engine, yada yada). Once it's supposed to go to the home page of the game, I get some message that I literally can't read. (The text isn't readable.) What is causing this?

Oh, and if I exit out of the message, it just closes the game. :/

Step 1 - search the forums before you post. There ar 12,539 threads with the same title and they have answers to your problem. No need for another thread.

Step 2. - search will find answers like this guide

Step 4 - fix the problems then come back this thread and say its fixed and how so others know

Step 5 - enjoy playing Killing Floor, one of the best games ever.

You know what, I should've searched. I didn't even think about that. Thanks for pointing me to that thread, I'll see if it works for me.

You are welcome. There is a section on text looking like braile (just dots). Also try the generic fixes of deleting the killing floor system folder and verifying your game cache (steps in the guide). Make sure you update your video driver.

If these don't work, then post you system specs, operating system, video card, and your killing floor log (its the killing floor text file in the system folder). List each fix you already tried and we'll find you the fix or maybe get Tripwire tech support help.
