game shuts down

Hey guys, really need an answer. Everytime i start Sacred Gold and try to select an option in the multiplayer menu the game shuts down without any notification or error :/
I already tried to reinstall the game but it didn't work

Mentioned in another thread.. it seems the multiplayer was hosted by the creators and have shut them down for Sacred 2, which has also shut down their multiplayer section of the game several years back.

Same ♥♥♥♥, why the ♥♥♥♥ should it shut down on LAN. I feel cheated.

Wait... is LAN also down then? I always assumed that at least worked o.O

I had to reinstall Sacred and during the installation i just left my PC until it was finished. And now it is working...So a little bit strange

Ty, I will try doing it too, srsly im frustrated how bad coded this game could be, my friend got system freezes with it, I got non-working MP.

Edit: nope, reinstall without touching the PC didn't change anything.

Then i don't have a clue.. it worked for me and i do not have another solution for it, sadly.
