Monster in the Forest without Legendary Weapon

I don't have the Legendary Weapon anymore needed to kill the golem in the forest. I play a wood elf and use bows as main weapons. Any chance to hurt the golem with another weapon?

Or is it possible to get the Legendary Weapon back? I have no idea where I have thrown it away or sold to a merchant.
