How to save on GTA IV with or without windows live

i open gta 4 make a windows live accout and when i try to sign in TO SAVE it says downloading profile every time & it says proflie is not downloaded or some ♥♥♥♥ delete and try again so i save and then i download profle update leave game open up downloading profile then i check again and proflie is not downloaded if anyone knows how to fix this ♥♥♥♥ please tell me thanks.

yeah, me too, now my game (gta 4) doesn't even open, i click on play, it shows thatr thing of social club, i click on play, and then it doesn't open, this was because of windows live, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥

Try to download and install the latest version of GFWL client separately.

i downloaded GFWL works fine but the Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant says Ended Prematurely Because of an error. Your system has not been Modified

Make sure your Windows Update system component (Windows Update) is not disabled and is running.

You can get to this two ways:
Right click your 'My Computer' icon on your desktop, go to Manage
Go to Services & Applications> Services
Find Windows Update service, right click> click start
or, Windows Update service, right click> Properties, set the drop down to Manual or Automatic, hit Start

Now install the Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant.

Second method to get to the System Component services:
Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Services
Find Windows Update service, right click> start
or, goto Windows Update, right click> Properties, set the drop down to Manual or Automatic, hit Start

Now install the Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant.

You may disable the Windows Update system component service again once you have finished installing.
