How to bypass Games for Windows LIVE?

Allright, so I bought this game a few weeks ago in the big Rockstar sale, and now I wanted to play it. However, I'm having serious issues in getting this thing to work properly. The main issue is, as allways, that piece of crap software they call Games for Windows LIVE.

Game starts fine, then I need to sign in or something. Even to play the singleplayer. So I get a screen that looks like you need to control it with your mouse, but the mouse pointer is nowhere to be found. That's ok I can use the keyboard, but then I need to login to my windows live account. It seems like the password has already been filled in for me. It has nowhere enough characters and I can't edit the password field... So I tried to continue creating my profile. It starts hopefully with downloading the new profile, but then that screen just dissapears and I get an all black GTA IV game screen.

What can I do now? Obviously that games of windows live is the culprit again.. Can I bypass that somehow? Why doesn't GTA just use the Steam multiplayer features btw?

Open GFWL outside of GTA, then you can manage your profile and enable auto-login. If you have that working then after starting GTA and the game runs, minimize the game and open taskmanager and kill off all the GFWL crap that is running in the background including the marketplace and GTA web browser. It eats up a lot of your CPU and slows the game.

Ok Thx B00tsy! This auto login worked, and apparantly I also had to accept some terms & agreements on xbox.com, after that it worked perfectly :)
