can someone please help??? i installed the mod with the vehicle mod installer, and it appaers i can get all the mod features time travel... etc... but i cant spawn deloreans, or hover please help!

Try to install manually, follow the readme file instructions, there are some files that need to edit with notepad for it to work. It will add a new vehicle2.img to the game it doesn't replace any car, you don't need the vehicle mod installer for this mod. Also you need the Time traveller mod and Scripthook , links included on the readme file. I f you follow correctly all the steps, you can open the console and spawn the model you want to play. The car 2 is the one that can hover, just press F7 or F8 to land it.

thanks, but its so hard i end up having to re-install the whole game cuz i keep messing it up! can u help in some way? plz? it looks like soooooo much fun!

First step is to make a copy of your GTAIV folder and keep it somewhere in your hard drive, this way you can restore your game and test any mods you want, if something goes wrong you'll have a backup and you won't need to download it again.
- Donwload the mod from this link if you need it: http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/back-to-the-grand-theft-auto-ultimate-mod-10-f24029. Extract the files to your desktop to make it easy to access.We'll go back to this folder after we install the other files.

- Download Scripthook from here: http://gtaforums.com/topic/392325-beta-gtaiv-net-scripthook/ and extract, inside you will find 3 files and one folder, you just need to copy 2 files ( ScriptHook.dll and ScriptHookDotNet.asi) to your "GTAIV" main folder and create a new folder and rename it "Scripts"
- Download ASI Loader from here: http://www.gta4-mods.com/tools/gta-iv-asi-loader-v1020b-f1976 and extract, inside you'll find the file "dsound.dll" which you have to copy to your main GTA folder (GTAIV)
Now we can proceed to the next steps.

-Open the mod folder(Back to the grand theft auto mod) that you extracted, look for the file "vehicles2.img" copy it to ...\GTAIV\pc\models\cdimages.
- Copy "handling2.dat" and "vehicles.ide" to ...\GTAIV\common\data.
- Find the file "carcols.dat", right click on it and "open with" and choose notepad, it will open a text file on notepad and add these lines:
#delorean
bttf1, 6,21,113,
bttf2, 6,21,113,
bttf22, 6,21,113,
bttf2h, 6,21,113,
bttf3, 6,21,113,
bttf3rr, 6,21,113,
between the lines yankee , 15,112,1 , 26,78,1 , and end
- In the same folder find "gta.dat", right click and open with notepad, and add this line ate the very end:
IDE common:/data/vehicles2.ide
Don't forget to click save on notepad after you edit the files.
- Still on this folder, find the file "handling.dat" right click on it and open with notepad, add the line:
platformimg:/models/cdimages/vehicles2 1
(right under "platformimg:/models/cdimages/componentpeds 1")
- In the same folder look for "default.dat file" , open it with notepad and below the line HANDLING common:/data/handling.dat add the line:
HANDLING common:/data/handling2.dat

If you followed the steps right, it will be working and you can test the cars, this install will add 4 cars to the game, the 3 for each movie and one for the train.
