How to fix start-up loading crash?

The issue I have with the game is that it will start up normally and then start to the loading screen, then after about the fourth or third picture, it crashes. I honestly don't understand why this is happening but I hope one you has the answer. Just got the game yesterday and didn't realize the many issues people have been having with it.

The way to usually older titles is to just right click your main game file and click "open with notepad" and then press Ctrl + F and type in that code "resolution" and fix that number to your current pc monitor resolution write down the original resolution incase you ♥♥♥♥ up and it will probably work
