To prevent the game from only running once, you need to take a backup of the file gtadata\PLAYER_A.DAT. Remember to do this before you run the game the first time. The next time you want to play the game, you need to replace this file with the one you've backed up.

This needs to be repeated every single time you want to play the game.

why would you get this game for 35£ when you could have got in it in the sale with all the other ones (gta 2,3,4 and san adreas and vice city) for 8£

Steam should tell the customer that despite buying this game, it won't run without a series of hoop-jumping antics.

Where on the entire of planet Earth are they selling GTA 1 for 50 or 35 euros? Imbeciles!
Metalslayer 3 fév 2013 à 14h55
People, it is not GTA 1 for 35 euros, 35 euros is the Complete GTA Bundle, you can't buy GTA 1 or 2 only, they are just included in the bundle, you just have to go to the store to see the description!

Who in their right mind mind would pay 49,99€ for a game released in 1997? No one. But
some people wouldn't mind paying 49,99 for a BUNDLE containing all the GTA Games ever released.

Kinda like how MW3 is still $60, when it's almost 2 years old
GTA5Player [Perker] 19 mar 2013 à 5h44
