GTA:SA is quite different from Vice City (previous game in the serie) Due to the fact that they introduced a skill system with weapon skills, fatness, muscles and so on. Which can force you on some missions to have a required let's say lunge capacity.
Apart from that you are able to move while aiming and shooting if you have reached the last skill level with your weapon AK-47 for example.
The story is solid, lots of cursing, ghetto problems, friends turning on each other. Don't expect this game to revolve solidly around the ghetto and gangs it's very similar to alot of gta games the further you get into the game, in short words you start with nothing and can end up in a gigantic mansion. But like most GTA's the missions can get very repeatable. "Steal this", "kill this guy", "drive X to Y". They also introduced a more RPG feeling to the game with the skill system aswell as the ability to outfit CJ with different cloths, tattoos and hairstyles that can be found in several shops around San Andreas
We played this game with a Xbox 360 controller which had both upside and downsides - in the config the game uses keyboard buttons for mapping the controller which made it hard in certain missions also the controller didnt have enough buttons to bind everything you we're required to have on certain missions.
Total playtime with only the story missions done no optional missions (possibly few optionals done): 18 hours playtime~
We estimated it will take another 20-25 hours to complete the game to 100% if you're only playing casually like we did.
