GTA:SA Doesn't Respond to Mouse

My game won't respond to mouse movements/clicking, even in menus, I've tried hitting Esc multiple times and Alt+Tab in and out of the game, still nothing. Just wondering if there's any sort of fix to this as it is an extremely good game.

press shift+tab which opens the steam overlay then hit the same key combo to close it. this fixes the problem this happens alot but not enough to get to annoying and atleast you can play.

Instead of havin to open and close the overlay you could download this http://hotmist.ddo.jp/plugin/mousefix/index.html just put it in your san andreas directory
