Modding GTA SA

I honestly can't figure out how to mod this game, I've downloaded a dozen mods and can't get them to work, I can't even get SAMI to work. I mostly just want HD graphics. I wish there was something similar to Steam's mod subscriptions for Skyrim or somthing similar to modding through the Nexus mod manager.

You need to downgrad to v.1 :) google it
