I CANT RUN GTA SAN ANDREAS WITH WINDOWS 7

I just bought the game. Once downloaded the game doesn´t run. It shows a black screen and that is all. I´ve tried to change compatibility modes, verified cache integrity, and nothing happens. It shows an error: "can´t initiate game, application already running". I need help. Thanks very much.

i got the same problem rwinstalling worked once for me but then after that it keeps saying app already runningare you running a 32 or 64 bit windows 7

also you can cut and paste your save files if your download speeds are fast enough to download everyth=ime you want to play

Did you try disable DEP?

Data Execution Protection. Google how to disable DEP for a game and give that a try.

I have the same problem... Im reinstalling it before I saw what RT said... So I didnt test disabling DEP before... I thought about it, but it doesnt show any error... It just gets the screen black and closes without even showing the icon close to the start menu... But anyways, did it work for you?
My windows is 7 Home Premium 64bit and I've got a Dual Core 2.6ghz, 8gb ram and 2gb GDDR3 nvidia geforce gt430... would any of these affect my gameplay by not letting it run? it's way above the requirements for the game :/

found out how to solve it :D i simply unistalled Samsung TunePremium, Multiscreen and IP DS Camera, which I would use for making a webcam out of my mobile phone... the others I just installed coz they came with my new screen and that was the reason of the conflict xD

uninstall programs related to video if you dont have any of these samsung ones and try again with your graphic driver updated, ofc
