Before downgrading one question.
I have been hearing people claim that the downgrade messes up cutscenes and other stuff, so I was wondering what do I do to fix it if it happens to me?

If ever you have a problem completing a mission, enable frame limiter, complete mission, disable frame limiter.

One more question: What do I do if the game does not launch?

I've never heard of versions affecting cutscenes. The only thing that affects cutscenes is the frame limiter. You should keep it enabled at all times.

Downgrading also allows you to install bugfix mods so your game ends up being more stable than before.

Keeping frame limiter enabled at all times will definately keep your fps way down (25-30 vice 100+) and give you choppy playing at times.

I mostly keep frame limiter OFF.

I do ENABLE it when i have problems on a mission. You will know pretty quick.

This has to be the first time i ever hear about downgrading causing issues... It is usually that downgrading solves issues, me thinks... That aside, always remember to apply the ASI Loader and Silent Patch (especially the latter, in its most recent/updated version). Usually, newer downgraders offer you the choice to have some extras installed by default; always check at least those two. Another must, is the multiplayer, SAMP.

I don't keep frame limiter on it just makes my game feel slow and rough.

It works fine with me on 30fps through 90 fps areas. (*Thinks* Is my system on crack?)

Trying not to anger you btw :/

yea sorry frramelimiter off is a problem and it deforms physics and leads to crashes a lot. so even if your PC is a special snowflake and you don´t have any problems stop advising it to people because it will do no one any good
