Need help!
Hello, i want to install a mod "back to the future hill valley", but unfortunately the installer stops to function after i set the game's installation directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto Vice City
I think that the author created the mod for the non-steam GTA VC, which i believe it has this installation directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto Vice City

Because i have it activated in steam but i do not have the discs anymore, that means the game will be download and install trough steam.
If i uninstall the game, how can i make it to install in this directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto Vice City
through steam?

Even if i ask the author to make his mod compatible with GTA VC steam version he will not do it, he did not released new version of his mod for few years!

Please help, anybody!

Mods are the makers responsibility not steam. Some game don't have mods and some do. Your just going to have to live with it.

Maybe the mod works only with v1.0 of the game. Read the readme of the mod

Well, when i activated the game here, it the version was Old Audio, which is v1.0, but it only made the download and no update after that, when i checl the exe version, it does not write anything on version section.

v1.1 also has the old audio and since your game is on steam your probably have v1.1
