Quitting Game

I'm new to this game so I played it a bit and when i tried to quit a screen with ''greetings from vice city'' stays there forever how do I fix this?

Mine does that sometimes too all I do is go to task manager and end task.

I am also facing this problem after having just bought and started the game. I am on Windows 10. To solve the problem in the meantime, I just go to the desktop, then the Steam client, then stop the game from there, but this is very annoying. There must be a way to solve this problem.

Actually, I was also having another problem, i.e. the mouse was not working. So, as suggested in this guide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHneELtikxk, I set the compatibility option to "Windows 98/Windows Me", then the mouse started to work (although I had tried this before and it was not working: weird!). Then I made the first or second mission, saved the game, then quit, and it closed the window ''greetings from vice city''; so the compatibility option may have affected this (or not)...

My bad again. The mouse problem was not actually solved. I still have it if I start the game from the Steam client, but not if I click on the executable of the game inside the folder where it was installed... The problem of the window ''greetings from vice city'' staying open forever still exists...

Another thing I've noticed is that, if I start the game from the Steam client, in the menu, the mouse doesn't work but it work in the game (at least now). If I start the game by clicking on the executable, now, for some reason, it works in the menu but not in the game. Another thing I've noticed is that the "quit" problem does not seem to happen when you quit after having loaded a mission, so maybe that's why above I said that I was not having the problem anymore, so it probably has nothing to do with the compatibility thing.

Another thing is: I removed now the compatibility thing, and the mouse does not work in the menu but it works in the game (I think before it was not even working in the game, but I could be wrong...). In any case, after having loaded the last checkpoint of the game, then I quit, and the window with ''greetings from vice city'' closes after 4-5 seconds...
