This game has plenty going for it. Good story, character building, reaction times, and who doesn't like killing diseased zombies. It's kind of like GTA super villain edition. Where does the character Heller place himself in the midst of vast corruption in the government, corporation, and the rebels? You can explore, drive tanks, fly helicopters, fly (glide), use weapons which are attached and detached with special manouvers.
Now for the Con, and it's a big one... It would seem when they ported the game over to PC, the developers didn't think about memory management. A memory leak!!! The application seems to handle up to a 4gb ram allocation. Anything more and it locks up and abnormally ends. I have 16 gb and really enjoyed Prototype I so this wouldn't stop me. I found you can keep an eye on the physical memory in task manager, displayed on your second monitor. Prior to that threshold (for me it was at 7.1gb (you will need to identify your own as you may have more or less applications running than I do), you can alt+tab out of the game and then go back in. In doing it this way, windows will clean up the memory leaked until it builds up again. It definately adds a challenge.
