New Patch is live
The new beta patch is live. Going to try it and see if it fixes the problem. Seems they don't want to tell the people on the new forums.

Cool, thanks!

No problem, I want to see this game get fixed and stay alive. So more information to the masses the better. I just wish THEY would bring this info to the new forums and not one of their fans -_-

If I'm not mistaken, at least some threads show in both forums. I assume one hast to link the forum account to their steam account or something. Anyways, in the "old" forums, there are some news to be found, indeed. Weird thing is, there are both ppl that say the patch fixed the scrap lag and there are ppl that say it's still there.. buy, don't buy, buy, don't buy...
I bought the 4 pack yesterday and I played for 3 hours last night CO-OP with my cousin and didn't have any problems. We were going through the normal game not the endless mode I have heard about but haven't played yet. I will report back if I encounter anything during later plays. FYI: Both computers are i5's overclocked to 4.2Ghz, 8gig memory, and ATI 6850's with the latest drivers and I also have a good internet connection.

Patch doesn't fix the lag, unfortunately. In some Multiplayer maps, it's actually worse than we remembered it. We were playing 4-player survival.
Ok, forget what I said earlier. I have experienced horrible lag a number of times now on normal maps.

I came to the hub/forums looking for results, but after 2 months there is still no improvement -_-; In a fast paced technology age you cannot take 2 months to fix a game because you only get so much time in the spotlight then it's over. As much as I loved the mechanics of this game, buying a 4 pack was a complete waste of money, and I will have a tough time convincing my friends to play this again.

MS is destroying studio reputations with GfWL.

I have given up on this game. There are to many other co-op games out there that are working even with GFWL. Sad to see this is not one of them.(that and the fact they won't post on the new forums.)

Sad but True... :/

Actually I tried the beta patch and it seems to run quite better.
The only drawback I have found are some annoying audio scraps...

Did this stutter issue exist on the Xbox? I so want to do survival but it lags so bad we can't aim at anything!

these issues do not exist on the xbox version, it runs just fine. however I don't think I can go back to aiming with sticks ever again.

So what happened to the PC version? I really like the game but can't play survival past wave 20 or so due to the lag!
