Game won't start

I recently picked up Stacking. When I try to start the game a black screen pops up and then Windows (7) says Stacking quit responding. I have verfied the cache and it says it's missing a file and it will download the file. However it doesn't seem to actually do this as it's missing a file every time I verify cache. I have deleted and redownloaded the game. I have tried running the game in compatiblity mode and I haven't been able to get the game to load.


Edit: It's working today. First install must have been bad and then it must have needed another restart after second install.

Although it doesn't help with your problem at all, the "1 files failed to validate and will be reacquired" message is probably a red herring - I get the same thing when I validate even though the game works fine for me.
