Game Doesn't Work

I am running the game on ubuntu linux and every time I launch the game I get nothing, but a black screen, no sound, no visuals, nothing, I must then hit escape which crashes it and sends me back to steam.

I broke and am using a Windows partition. Such an ineffecient OS.

I had a similar sounding problem with Not The Robots (Ubuntu 14.04). Installing the package "libglu1-mesa:i386" fixed it in my case- something to do with 32 and 64 bit processors, I believe...

Have you still a problem with the game ?

In my case I had the same problem on Ubuntu 64 bits, but I finally found a way to launch the game by running it directly from the folder and not Steam.

Go in User/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common/Stacking - there, you'll find Stack.bin.x86 which will normally start the game.

Or you can also directly put ~/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common/Stacking/Stack.bin.x86 in a terminal.

The first time I installed Stacking, there were some dependencies that weren't included and I had to add them manually: libc6:i386 libasound2:i386 libasound2-data:i386 libasound2-plugins:i386.
