after how many treasure rooms do you restart?

im curious on how many treasure rooms people go through before restarting the game because of the likelihood of it being a bad run
if i get 2 straight crappy treasure rooms (in the beginning) ill restart

Kind of a quitter if you ask me... I never quit on a run. First of all, there are some items you can get and the one item can carry the entire run (fetus, ipecac, etc.) and if you're skilled enough, you can get through a full run even with awful items (although it's really frustrating if your damage is crazy low and bosses take forever).

Whats the point of playing a roguelike if your gonna save scum? I say keep going you might get carried by a dr fetus or brimstone.

The chances of getting a good item later on are too good for me to pass up. I also am not good enough to know what items are best, so I always make do with what I have and hope for best. That's the point of roguelikes isn't it?

i never quit and most people who quit wont be able to get the pinking shears which you can only see after you die 100 times total.
