If that doesn't work, it's pretty much it. Sorry for the small help x)
It sucks, I can't play this on my netbook that can run plenty of intensive games. But I can play it on my desktop fine.
Not that it helps your current situation, but the guys who did the VVV and Cave Story ports are creating a "demake" of Isaac (Rebirth) that will use a legit engine and have 16bit graphics. They are doing this, in part, because Ed knows that the whole as2 thing was a mistake. Don't quote me on this, but I swear I remember Ed saying that anyone that has the original Isaac may get a discount, but I could be wrong.
So, they did the game with a bad engine, and now they're gonna do a new version, whe're we have to buy it again??? srsly???they should give us that new version for free to people who bought it... this is not fair :(
Anyway... A bit of quick research is always nice. Plus it's a remake of the game, so it's worth buying it again, if they gifted me the game for free, I would delete it and buy it again because people worked on it to remake it. And trust me a game with the kind of playtime and content like Isaac... It's very hard to remake, recode, add new graphism etc. It's like recoding the entire game again from a very bad chalkboard called flash.
So yeah, it's worth buying multiple times, on sale or not xD
your computor just has low memory or something
IKR :S
