Also, yes. A Boss Rush mode would be a good way for troubled players to learn how to managed these bosses, while also posing a challenge for those who want to see how long they will last against constantly-spawning bosses.

Also I think you unlock the Daddy Longlegs item upon completion of the The Purist challenge.
Since challenges are a part of the WotL, that might be why you unlocked Platinum God earlier than expected. Unless, of course, you don't need WotL achievements for that.
