Yes, but buy the DLC after you got a hang of the game.

Do you think Wrath dlc is better than normal Isaac campaign gameplay or what else?

Watch some youtube videos on it and decide, your money afterall! If you buy it then definitely buy the expansion since it adds quite a lot of extra content.

Also, why ask when you've already played it?!

@J-P. I bought it yesterday and I am playing it right now so. And also, I just asked question about it.

Well, the Wrath DLC adds different floor variants and items. The core gameplay is still there, but the difficulty is spiked.
Wrath of the Lamb is very worth it. During my experience, I've grown tired of Satan and the bosses just end up too easy once you get the hang of things and the game becomes really dull. WotL adds double the bosses, double the difficulty (AFTER you beat the game) with the addition of the Cathedral and the Chest after you beat Satan enough times.

Highly reccommend WotL early rather than later.

It is better than the original campaign but you may think otherwise if you get it to early and you will probably want to beat the first campaign since there isn't a way to turn it off

Know the dynamics of the game first, then get the dlc (i STRONGLY reccomend getting the dlc)

Personally I didn't like the game [edit: wasn't any good at the game] at first but after setting up JoyToKey with an xbox 360 gamepad, it's way more enjoyable using the dual analog sticks.

Not really sure why people find it easier with a gamepad or with the mouse, I find it personally harder not using WASD and arrow keys; it may be different from a lot of PC games, but I logged a lot of hours on Armagetron and have gotten used to using 6-8 keys to control a single thing.

Except in that game you only turn left and right, making 6-8 keys harder, but overall improved binding for me, I just cant use a controller x(.

i wouldnt but the dlc straight away it makes the game very difficult. i would just buy the normal game and once you get the hang of it then buy the dlc.

I bought the game and DLC at the same time, and yea game is very difficult to start with the DLC.. but it is waay worth it imho. Otherwise the game would be too easy. Buy DLC asap and enjoy the HARD game this is meant to be :)

The game and DLC are WELL worth the full price, but it's a plus if you can get it on sale. I've clocked in 280 hours so far and still going strong.
