Beware the Bum Friend

So I read that the Arcade only spawns on even or XL floors if you have 5 cents or more. Starting a Cain run and making sure to line my pockets on floor 1, I found that a library had spawned! Pushing inside, the Book of Shadows awaited me, along with Telepathy for Dummies.

I then jumped down, and hit the Item Room first. Before I could recognize him, I accidentally picked up a Bum Friend. Okay, no big deal. Hitting the Arcade, my plan was to get a Blood Bag, so I activated the Book of Shadows and donated over and over. The Bum Friend takes most of the coins, so I decide to be a little more careful on future donations, yet despite my efforts, he's always between me and the machine. Alright, getting the blood bag is going to be harder than I thought.

Unfortunately for me, he had other plans. Around the sixth or seventh half-heart pumped into the thing, he picks up the resulting coin, and out pops a lit bomb thanks to item variants, which promptly blows up the blood machine! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! >.<

Bum friend is one of my higher pet peeves in the game. Up there with Masks, but not as bad as the chest.

the thing i hate the most in the games is horfs and duke of flies. i kind like chub but he s annoying

personally i love bum friend, he can be an ass some times, but very useful after mom.

I agree, sometimes, he can be a little annoying, (No! Don't take the dime you idiot!) but he can be useful sometimes when you are running out of bombs or keys or even if you need a trinket.
