Golden god glitch?
When I completed a game in which i picked up an item i had never picked up before, the golden god secret appeared when i got back to the title screen after dying. However, I checked my collection and I still have 2 items missing...also, my title screen is still "The End" not golden god, I also tried playing another game and dying, it was still "The End" will this have any effect on my earning of platinum god? has anyone else xperienced this?

same thing happened to me. I take demon baby and then suddenly appear the golden god.I didn't collect 2 or 3 item.(for example Forget Me Now)

title screen is still THE END.

the end is from WOTL which it has priority and golden god unlock once you pick all Vanilla item or 1 less
