Depths w/o taking damage

I'm on the virge of completing this game, the only achievement I have left till Platinum God is "Dark Boy". Any tips on beating it? I'm not sure if running The Doctor's Revenge challenge over again or any challenge for that matter without taking damage would work, so could someone clarify that?

Doctor's revenge is not too reliable because you can hurt yourself pretty easily.
You should just try normal runs and try to get high damage.
I got it with a chocolate milk and technology 2 combination while playing cain.

"Isaac was good today", maybe. There is flying ability from the beginning and a few hearts to spare in devil's rooms.

Teleporter. Teleporter is your best friend. I got about 7 rooms on the depths total with teleporter. It still requires some luck, but it is way better than going to each individual room.

i have done this achievement with doctor revenge - otherwise u have to get faith up and hope for a bible to show op to kill her instantly - i think "isaac is good today" might also work coz u have a flying ability and u can spend hearts on devil room. -- if u have not taken any hits on the depths 1 - just skip anything (even the item room) and try to go for it.

Do the "spider boy" challenge. 4 tears at start + sticky tears is a great boost, Find poly, or sacred heart and its a clean victory, EASY.

Pick up "spirit of the night" if you can. Spectral+flying with quad shot is a must.

The problem using Doctor's Revenge is that you lack the push back of tears, so can burn through bosses and enemies but easy enemies like spiders are your worst enemy.

theres actually a little spot right above the right door, practically touching it were the foot can't get u. her hand will just keep coming out the door waiting to be shot. Its really helpful when trying to beat mom without taking damage

yah i failed this 2 time cuz of damn headless head coming at me =/ but if you get red mom she wont spawn any ennemy so its the best way

Managed to do it with Doctor's Revenge, Bible and an emperor card. Completed the first level of Depths cleanly and then BAM. Then doing the Womb with no damage is a LOT easier once you're free to roam Depths without caring about some minor damage.

You can get Mama's Boy before Dark Boy. I always thought it was agreed that the Womb is easier than the depths as is.
