killing floor or this?

i was looking into binding of isaac because the gameplay peaked my interest and it was tagged in as being difficult but also noticed killing floor is on sale right now and i do enjoy zombie shooters so i'm torn in between the two =/. any suggestions?

I haven't played killing floor, but what I do know is that I have 188 hours in BoI. I love and hate it every time I play it, sometimes with more love than others. And there are still times it makes me want to scream and cry. I'm a fan of the grim theme as well and never regret the money spent.

I have both and I'd say Binding of Isaac has more replayability. If you really want a game to play online or with friends, take Killing Floor.

i went ahead and picked up boi, sadly it wasn't what i was expecting, the game is fun but when ppl said it was hard i was expecting more of a challenge. nearly beat the game on my first run

While I'm sorry it's not quite what you expected, note now that after you beat Mom the first few times, you will unlock more levels/difficulty. [Grats on almost getting there your first try]

I personally would have gone for Killing Floor, but I am also a major fan of Binding of Isaac. Whilst both games offer great replay-value (Binding of Isaac potentially moreso), there is nothing more satisfying than a hard day at work, coming home to shoot some zombies. Binding of Isaac is very fun, give it a few go's and you'll really fall in love with it. Check the Binding of Isaac wikia via Google, there are TONS of items, bosses, you name it. Even if you were close to 'beating' it once, new floors unlock each time you kill what you think is the final Boss, only to discover more items, enemies, bosses, rooms and more. This game really is endless.

i was on the last stage before that big skull icon in the loading screen so unless theres more after that then i assume i almost beat it

After you defeat Mom the first time, you will unlock The womb 1+2, at this depth the challenge is even greater, with enemies dealing double damage. If you brave your way to the heart and emerge victorious a few more times, you'll be rewarded with further increased difficulty, and with Wrath of the Lamb expansion, even more to explore.

BOI without dlc is 3x easier not sure if you bought dlc though

the game is randomly made every run is unique, and the bosses are different.



infinite replayability of sorts.


YOu will be fighting different bosses and unlock more characters, you probly got lucky, and this time you will die fast

This is kinda biased though, since you're asking on the BINDING OF ISSAC forums. Half of you haven't even played KF. lol.

I played KF, thought it was pretty terrible. But that's just me.

Incidentally, Isaac gets meatier the more of it you play, as you unlock more areas and items, allowing for more ways to play. This is multiplied if you get the dlc. Try the challenges too.
