Is it possible we'll be seeing the game on Linux?

I bought it already – and at least I hope that I can get it work!!

Monte-Carlo at least was not startable… but I found a notice that it was not tested to run under different circumstances, so… ;(

Would love to see a Linux port, the game looks really intriguing.

Sadly it does not even start with the help of Wine ;(

I bought it already - and can't use it.

We hope to support linux in the future. Right now we are finishing up the Mac version, but we have Linux in our minds!

Very much appreciated. A lot of dedicated ubuntu users will be happy they don't have to run this through WineX.

Ubuntu isn't the only linux distro being used by steam users. Also I would love to have a linux cilent.

Really hoping to see this in Linux after the Mac port is finished. I have only spent maybe ten minutes in the game since buying it. Steam on Linux has spoiled me and I'm to lazy to reboot now!

Are the plans getting any clearer with the mac port taking shape? Does a linux version sound more feasible now?

The Mac port is less than a week away if everything goes according to plan. The Linux version will all depend on how the Mac version does, if there is demand for it. If we ever want to do humble bundle, we will have to do linux, so it's not out of the question.

... why would the Linux version depend on how much demand there is for the mac version?

It's hard to evaluated where to distribute our man hours. We have a team of 2 working on the ports and that isn't that many people. If Mac requires a lot of customer support, like supporting old operating systems and whatnot, then we need to divert attention to address those before working on other platforms.

So... the more people who buy the Mac version the less likely a Linux port becomes?

No, the more people who buy mac, the more likely a linux becomes because it means people want to buy the game.
