Keeps Crashing
I'm not sure whats up but the game keeps crashing. It's not the missing exe. - though I did have to repair that.

When I launch it through steam it says monaco.exe failed to launch but if I launch it directly through the exe it runs perfectly fine, without multiplayer options though.

Have you tried restarting steam? If it's without the multiplayer options it could only be because of a problem with steam

Have you tried reinstalling the game? You could delete local content and re download it.

I have reinstalled the game several times. I have restarted steam. I have restarted my PC, and a few combinations of the above.

Is there anything that I can provide, seeing as you're a developer?

By running the .exe directly, you're bypassing the Steamworks matchmaking system. I wonder if that means that the steamworks matchmaking is what's causing the error. I will log this issue and keep you up to date.

I'm having a problem with the .exe as well though this may have been addressed elsewhere. I load up the game, singleplayer works fine and all, but when I attempt to join a custom match, any room, it begins the process but then the game instantly CTD's with .exe has stopped working. Unsure if this is a fault with the files on my end or steam and the servers of the game. Any insight would be appreciated.

I figured out my problem, Mumble's overlay stops the game from running. Never had this with a steam game or any other game.

Mumbles overlay? That is a third party software I'm assuming?
Yes, Mumble is a common voice chat program, like Ventrilo or TeamSpeak.

I've seen it happen with a few other games, I haven't had the overlay on in literally years because I find it annoying.

Hey Mr. Ferret, I'm gonna look into this okay? I responded with some info on your thread about this issue.

Mine just stops working Midway through online matches, I can still hear everything and I'm fairly sure I can still move, but I cannot see anything.

Chat, Characters, Walls, Enemies, Everything's gone except for something that says "Monaco" on the top left of my Monitor. Not only that, but I also can't interact with what I CAN see [my desktop], meaning that I have to restart my computer and log back in, in hopes of it working.

If multiplayer options are not available, it suggests that possibly your cloud save file is corrupted. Try turning off cloud saves or workshop for Monaco, then run again via steam.
