cheating?

Joined a game with a player named "Nate"... any action you took in the game happened instantly (opening doors, healing, hacking computers, etc). Asked him wtf was going on and he said "dunno, glitch?". Checked his profile and he has a ton of high scores and his profile shows vac bans on record... seemed sketch enough that I quit his game. Are there protections for cheating or is this just something that's going to happen?

the game is clientside so yeah anyone with a memory editor could probably do this.

and often times like these are deleted by the devs. Thx for reporting him, I think he should be banned.

I try to keep suspcious times off the leaderboards, but a cheater is going to cheat no matter what we do. The PC just has too many options to hack things.
