[NEED HELP] Monaco crashes on startup

Today I read a tweet about the level editor now being in beta. I changed monaco to the beta branch and tried out the editor. Later I tried to play a level uploaded to the workshop but monaco just crashed. After the crash I went into the properties and put it into normal mode again. Now it won't start! when I press the play button, the loading screen with "confiscating assets..." appears and after a bit of waiting it crashes and "monaco doesn't work anymore"... I tried re-installing the game, but it didn't help.
