I'd give it a solid B+, 88 or 89. There are some minor problems with custom maps and score uploading. But honestly the game is awesome, replayable, and worth muscling through any small issues.

I've had a blast!

100/100 for me as well.
It's just my favorite game of all time although I'm not playing that much at the moment. There are some features I'd love to be included but it's amazing anyway.
And my honest rating would probably be similar to Durgrobachs.

My unbiased opinions are below;

When the game first came out it had just scraped a state of release and needed some extra polish. It was an 83/100 for me. It wasn't the game it is today. The game was damn fun, had an interesting aesthetic but a lot of stuff lacked. The amount of content was rather repetitive and the difficulty ramping was very poorly done. I also really struggled to connect to US players being in the UK.

What made the game a success was the continuing support of Pocketwatch both in terms of community boosting and fixing any game issues. Where the game sits today is at about 87-88/100 they've vastly improved it with interesting mechanics and DLC. The extended edition is a great way to replay the game without changing the core of what made the game fun.

Now looking at the game and how much enjoyment i've gotten out of it I'd have to say it is up there with any of the great classic titles; fun interesting and ultimately flawed (in the most positive sense of the word).
You can't measure how much i've fun i've gotten out of this game with a number, it wouldn't do justice to such a truly magnificent and unique game and the community surrounding it.

End game slowed down and final boss was disappointing. They coulda done some more Borderlands humor with it. Right after the climax I feel like things went a little downhill.

It gets a solid 87/100 from me. Would be a 90, but it suffers from shortcomings
