Quick question about Shaman.

Was wondering if shamans were able to summon multiple pets? Or do I have to pick between Wolves/Hellhound or Salamander/Drakes?

Also any tips on how to best focus my shaman is welcome

You can only summon one pet at a time, but seeing that each pet has different abilities and the summoning skills are on the LONG cooldown, you might want to take both of them just to be able to summon something when your other pet is down.

As for the focus of the build, it depends on your level of difficulty. All skills can be useful, and the build mainly depends on your style of play, but the important thing to remember is, the harder your game is, the more Dex you need, because it's an essential stat in surviving and dodging enemy blows.

Damage potential of Shaman is the lowest of all classes, so typically focusing on buffs/supportive skills is a good idea. Generally, be prepared for longer and more tedious fights and rely on your more damaging allies (like shadowwalker or sorceress). Going full Earthquake tree and using your own damaging skills is fine, too, but just less efficient than it might have been with other classes.
