Strange graphics glitch

Hello all, I seem to be having a problem wherein certain character sprites appear and disappear at random.

Also, if I can't see a character sprite, their "character picture" during conversation is blank as well, which I just find completely perplexing.

It might be a hardware problem, but sometimes the sprites load just fine and there seems to be little consistency with the problem.

Any advice would be appreciated. Like I said, it might be my (terrible) PC, but I feel like I should be able to run this game without this problem....

Sorry for reviving this, high end pc here, having this problem, trying the demo, annoying it might makes me not buying this, any advices?

Edit: playing on window mod fixed it.
